On our last full day in London we decided to check out a Michelin starred Indian restaurant. This would be our first experience with this cuisine in the Michelin guide. Luckily the restaurant is kid friendly during lunch, so our daughter got to tag along with us.

Here is what we had for lunch on August 21, 2025:

Variety of papadum and chutneys

Shrimp and onion pepper

Variety basket of naans

Dorset Brown Crab - Coconut oil, pepper, garlic, curry leaf]

Wild mushroom and morel kaima biryani - Kaima rice, sliced truffle, pink peppercorn raita

This was a nice lunch and a good change of pace from the European cuisine we’ve been eating this entire trip. Trishna’s signature curry, the Dorset brown crab, was delicious. I was a little skeptical as to whether the spices would overpower the flavor of the crab, but the dish struck a very delicate balance and did it well. The other dishes were tried were good, but the crab was definitely the standout.
